The journey begins with the winding curves of the legendary Bac Sum Pass, offering spectacular views over towering limestone peaks, lush green valleys, and peaceful mountain villages.
Continue to Quan Ba Heaven Gate, one of the most beautiful viewpoints on the Ha Giang Loop. From here, admire the iconic Quan Ba Twin Mountains and enjoy panoramic views across the picturesque Quan Ba Valley.
Next, explore the impressive Lung Khuy Cave, one of Ha Giang's most beautiful limestone caves. Hidden beneath the mountains, the cave is filled with magnificent stalactites and stalagmites formed over millions of years, creating a fascinating underground landscape.
After exploring the cave, descend into the peaceful Lung Tam Hemp Weaving Village, home to the traditional H'Mong hemp weaving craft. Day 2
DAY 2 – LAO XA → H'MONG KING'S PALACE → LUNG CU → NORTHERNMOST BORDER → DONG VAN
Wake up to the peaceful atmosphere of Lao Xa Village and enjoy breakfast before continuing your journey through the spectacular landscapes of the Dong Van Karst Plateau.
Leaving Lao Xa behind, travel along winding mountain roads towards the historic H'Mong King's Palace, the former residence of the powerful Vuong family. Along the way, you'll pass through breathtaking mountain landscapes, with numerous scenic viewpoints overlooking towering limestone peaks, deep valleys, and remote H'Mong villages.
There will be plenty of opportunities to stop along the route, take photographs, and enjoy the spectacular scenery of the northern highlands.
Arrive at the H'Mong King's Palace, a remarkable historic residence surrounded by dramatic limestone mountains. Explore its unique architecture and discover the fascinating history of the Vuong family and the H'Mong people.
Continue north towards Lung Cu Flag Tower. The road to Lung Cu offers even more spectacular scenery, with winding mountain roads, rugged limestone peaks, peaceful valleys, and remote villages scattered across the landscape.
Arrive at the iconic Lung Cu Flag Tower, proudly standing at Vietnam's northern frontier. Climb to the top and enjoy panoramic views across the surrounding mountains and valleys.
After visiting the flag tower, continue to the Northernmost Point at Hang Dao Border Area, one of the most remote areas along Vietnam's northern frontier. Here, you'll experience the peaceful atmosphere of the border region and admire the rugged landscape stretching towards the Chinese frontier.

Day 3
DAY 3 – DONG VAN → DEATH ROCK → MA PI LENG PASS → TU SAN CANYON → MEO VAC → DU GIA
Leaving Dong Van in the morning, your journey continues towards one of the most spectacular mountain landscapes in Northern Vietnam.
Your first stop is Death Rock, a dramatic viewpoint overlooking the immense limestone mountains and deep valleys of the Dong Van Karst Plateau. Take some time to admire the scenery and capture unforgettable photographs from this remarkable location.
From Death Rock, continue onto the legendary Ma Pi Leng Pass, one of the most iconic mountain roads on the Ha Giang Loop.
As you travel along Ma Pi Leng Pass, your local guide will share the history and stories behind this legendary road, including the remarkable efforts of the local people who spent years working to create a route through these steep and rugged mountains.
