Continue to Phia Thap Incense Village, where traditional Nung families have preserved the art of handmade incense for generations. Watch local artisans carefully prepare natural ingredients and craft fragrant incense by hand, offering a genuine glimpse into the traditional culture of Cao Bang.

Cao Bang → Phia Oac National Park → Nguyen Binh Bamboo Forest → Ba Be Lake Boat Trip → Overnight Sleeper Bus
[]Your final day begins with a journey away from the city and into the peaceful highlands of Northern Vietnam.
Head towards Phia Oac National Park, a spectacular mountain area known for its cool climate, dense forests, rugged peaks, and pristine natural surroundings. Leave the busy roads behind and enjoy the feeling of entering one of the quieter corners of Cao Bang.
Continue through the mountains to the Nguyen Binh Bamboo Forest, where slender bamboo trees rise along the mountain slopes, creating a peaceful and almost cinematic landscape. Take a walk through the forest, breathe in the fresh mountain air, and enjoy one last taste of Northern Vietnam's untouched nature.
From Nguyen Binh, continue towards Ba Be Lake, one of Vietnam's most beautiful freshwater lakes. Surrounded by limestone mountains and dense green forests, the lake offers a completely different perspective of the region.
Board a traditional boat and cruise across the calm waters of Ba Be Lake, passing dramatic cliffs, forested valleys, and peaceful lakeside scenery. After several days of riding through winding mountain roads, this quiet boat journey is the perfect way to slow down and appreciate the final moments of your adventure.
After the boat trip, continue to the departure point for your overnight sleeper bus. Settle into your berth as the mountains gradually fade into the night.

On Day 6, the tour ends in Ba Be around 4:00 PM. From there you can take a sleeper bus back to Hanoi or continue to other provinces (timing depends on the bus operator and traffic).
Because you can enjoy breathtaking mountain views in an open-air Jeep while feeling more comfortable throughout the journey. The open design offers fresh air, better visibility, and may help reduce motion sickness compared with traveling in an enclosed vehicle.
